Yet we still never observe any evidence for common descent. Ooh look! The limbs are similar! That proves that birds are dinosaurs!!!

bossmanham,

Your comment displays your total ignorance of the facts. It's not even worth citing the evidence for you, because even the most basic biology book would do that.

I wonder, do you think the Earth is flat, too?

Really? Then spout these facts instead of just presumptuously criticizing me. Maybe you hesitate because you're aware of the presumptuous logical leaps that it takes to come to the conclusion of common descent? Maybe you're aware that the Theses of Common Descent and Random Mutation and Natural Selection as the sole means of evolutionary development stem from enormous extrapolations from very limited evidence?

This is so common from you naturalists, since even people who are professionals in the field, ie Dembski, get the same baloney. It isn't because I'm unlearned that you attack, it's because I challenge your sacred cow (which probably evolved from a milk producing bug).

It's not even worth citing the evidence for you

Convenient for you, eh? Say, "If you don't know the evidence then I'm not gonna tell you!" What grade are you in?

because even the most basic biology book would do that.

The same ones that consistently have factual errors in them?

I wonder, do you think the Earth is flat, too?

Wow, that are a gud argooment. Did you come up with that on your own?

Victor I think that's a pretty good web site, partly becauseit is somewhat idiosyncratic and ungroomed, and skewed toward the developmental biology side of things rather than the molecular cladistics/paleontology side of things.

bossman: in DL's defense, your first post was ignorant, so your indignation isn't justified. If you had posted an intelligent critique of the page that Victor linked to, or given any inkling that you even looked at the web site (which doesn't even mention archaeopteryx, incidentally) his dismissive reply would not have been justified.
